ABOUT US. We are a fun loving and friendly group of people from all over the world, that has been set up primarily to organize bushwalks, beach and harbour walks, weekend getaways, camping trips, interstate holidays, social events and charity events. We organize lots of great events for our members and you can enjoy yourself and make many good friends by attending our events.
HEALTH & SAFETY. Your health and safety is our priority and we take care to minimize risk, accidents and injuries. However, if you RSVP "Yes" and attend our events, you do so entirely at your own risk.

BONUS DAY. Sorry everyone, no bonus day. We have to stick with our original flight bookings and come back to Sydney on Friday 16th June. We can now choose to hang around Tamborine Mountain on the last day or spend the afternoon at Coolangatta.

GOLD COAST HINTERLAND. This will be a 6 day Winter escape holiday to Tamborine Mountain and Lamington National Park. Please do not RSVP Going to this holiday unless you are 100% committed to joining us. We will only be taking 10 people on this up market 6 day holiday to the Gold Coast Hinterland.

ACCOMMODATION. We will now be staying at O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat at Lamington NP for 2 nights and Tamborine Mountain Motel for 3 nights. Anyone for Yoga, spas and massages ???

TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN. Visitor Information, Tamborine National Park, Botanic Gardens, Witches Falls Winery, Tamborine Mountain Distillery, Curtis Falls, Glow Worm Caves, Gallery Walk, Cauldron Distillery, Fortitude Brewery, Witches Falls Walking Trail, Cedar Creek Falls, Tamborine Mountain Skywalk, Tamborine Mountain Coffee Plantation, art Galleries and Witches Creek Cheese Company.

LAMINGTON NP. Gondwana Rainforests World Heritage Area, O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat, Canundra Valley Vineyard, Alpaca Farm & O'Reilly's Lost World Spa. Not Binna Burra as it is too far away from O'Reilly's.

O'REILLY'S FREE ACTIVITIES. Tree Top Walk, Stinson Plane, Rainforest Tracks, Waterfall Walks, Morning Birdwalk, Documentary Film. PAID ACTIVITIES. Birds of Prey, Wildlife Encounter, Flying Fox, Glow Worms, Segway Safari, E Bike Tours, Stargazing, Lost World Yoga, Sunset Experience, 4WD Tour, Guided Walks.

COST. $1450 per person for twin share rooms or $1950 per person for single rooms. Cost includes return flights to the Gold Coast, 5 nights up market accommodation, 6 days minibus hire, fuel and vehicle insurance.

Narrabeen Lagoon & Garigal NP walk

Narrabeen B-Line Bus Station

This walk starts by circumnavigating Narrabeen Lagoon to the Junction of Deep Creek. We will head into Garigal NP following Deep Creek along shaded tracks (pictured above). After crossing a ridge line, we will drop down into a picturesque creek for lunch by a waterfall.

After lunch we follow the creek downstream under cool overhanging rock formations, passing cascades and small waterfalls until it joins up with Deep Creek. From here we head back to Narrabeen Lagoon to continue our circumnavigation of the Lagoon back to Narrabeen shops. B1 buses leave regularly back to Wynward Station.

Start Location: 9:00am Narrabeen B-Line Bus Station

Transport: 8:08am B1 Bus from Wynyard Park Stand B to Berry Reserve, Pittwater Rd, Narrabeen (arrives 8:50am)

Distance: 18.4Km
Terrain: Sealed Road, Bush Track and Fire Trail

WHAT TO BRING. Please wear good bushwalking shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen, rain jacket, first aid kit, picnic lunch and 2L water.

Tuesday evening walk - Redfern via Observatory Hill

Wynyard Station, York St, Stand K

An approximately 10km walk, at around 5km/h, exploring the parks and foreshore around the CBD.

This weeks walk will finish at Redfern.

From Stand K we will walk north to the Rocks and then on to Observatory Hill and it's views. We will then continue to Dawes Point via High Street and Barangaroo Reserve. We will then turn south and will walk to the Pyrmont Bridge and Cockle Bay. We continue south towards the Goods Line before turning to walk past the main UTS campus at Broadway. To reach Redfern we will proceed through where the Carlton Kent Brewery once was and then through the back streets of Darlington.

Prior to attending this walk you should be vaccinated against Covid. This is to reduce the risk of catching or spreading the Covid virus within our community. Please do not attend if you are experiencing any flu like symptoms (it may be Covid).
