• A Farewell to MERNs: How I converted my site to Remix by Patrick McCullough
  Last year I became intrigued by Remix, just for the SEO benefits of SSR. So I set out to learn it the way I always do, by converting my personal site.
  Being new to SSR, I had a clear checklist of what I needed to do, and a lot of questions. How do I replace my Axios calls to my server that queries my DB? (Loaders), but what about the axios calls I need to make in a component (resource routes and fetchers).
  Its the talk I wish I'd heard! And while it's mostly geared toward noobs, I think my questions and approach as someone new to Remix could be illuminating to people who have been working with SSR for longer and are fixed in that mindset.
