Federated Learning: Share knowledge without sharing data

Welcome to the second meet-up of the Dissecting PETS series!

During this series we will introduce you to different PETS (Privacy Enhancing Technologies) and will examine them from a technical perspective. In this way we will learn about their pros, cons and their different use cases applicability.

During this webinar Acuratio team will introduce Federated Learning, a machine learning setting where multiple entities collaborate in solving a machine learning problem, while preserving data privacy.

Federated Learning is currently one of the most promising technologies, due to the adequate balance between privacy and utility. Acuratio team will introduce us to the different approaches such us Horizontal Learning and Vertical Learning, to end with a short demo of a Federated Model being trained. Acuratio team has been awarded by the Spanish Data Protection Authority!
