WHEN IS THE EVENT
Wednesday, June 14 th. We start at 1830 and we stay as long as we like. You can come alone or with some friends. In any case when you will go back home, you will have met a lot of new friendly people and shared with them fantastic experiences!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
At Expats Drinks after work, you'll have the chance to meet other expats and locals in a fun and relaxed setting. There will be plenty of opportunities to chat, mingle, and get to know new people. And of course, you'll also get to enjoy some of De Prael's delicious brews!
Based on our own experience, we recommend (especially if you are new) to come around the beginning of the event. It is the easiest way to meet and start a conversation with the other members. 🙂

Hello Expats in Amsterdam!
It's time for another fantastic AIC expats event! Thanks to our activities, many people in Amsterdam have been joining AIC to meet each other.
I-Dock is a great venue where to enjoy spending time with some other international people.

What is this about
AIC supports international people (Dutch are also welcome) to gather in a sample place so that they can entertain themselves by meeting new people and hopefully build great friendships.

Marina I-Dock is a bar with a beautiful terrace on a marina and it is located just 10 minutes from Central Station.

We always organized great events at I-Dock and finally, the weather should be good (🤞fingers crossed🤞) to enjoy a drink on the terrace 🍹☀️.
If the weather gets nasty, we can move inside where there is a beautiful bar with plenty of space for all of us.

Join us for Amsterdam Sunday Afternoon Comedy Showcases in English at Comedy Cafe!

What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than enjoying some laughs & drinks! Showtime is 15.00! Comedy Cafe is a lovely setting great for meeting expats and internationally-minded social Dutch natives! Who knows what'll happen!

Each show has 3-4 comics and is a fun mix of a pro headline comedian with support acts made up of stars of tomorrow, rookies & stars of yesterday :) + a lovely MC host from Ireland, England or Canada guiding you through the afternoon!

Michael Jäger (Germany) - Michael is one of the top headliner faces on the circuit and is taking comedy clubs throughout continental Europe by storm. Michael is also fresh off starring in a number of shows on the Luxembourg Comedy Festival. He used to dabble in boat captaining for tourists in Amsterdam and is legendary for incorporating comedy into his tours.

Tobias Erehed (Sweden) - Tobias originally comes from Tärnaby, Lappland in the north of Sweden. Besides talking about his arctic heritage, his jokes primarily revolve around absurd situations with unexpected twists and draws audiences into fits of laughter. Tobias was recently one of the comedians in Swedish National Television's remake of the famous Släng Dig i Brunnen. He has also written jokes for the comedy program Robins (like the Jimmy Fallon Late Night show of Sweden) and participated in some of the country's biggest podcasts.
